Online Educational Programs

ONLINE EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Millard School District online education programs will be offered for students at each of our district’s three high schools during the 2011-12 school year.  Several courses will be available, allowing students to customize their schedules to better meet their academic goals.  Students in grades 9-12 may enroll in Millard Education Online (MEO) courses at Delta, EskDale or Millard High Schools. 

In order to enroll in Millard Education Online, students must first discuss their interest in taking a particular course and how it will fit into their Student Education Occupation Plan (SEOP) with their school counselor.  Student and Parent Online Course Plans are available from your school to assist students and parents in preparing for the meeting with the counselor.  Parents, students and school counselors must approve the MEO plan before coursework begins.

All MEO coursework for the 2011-12 school year will be offered through either the Utah Electronic High School or Odysseyware (an online-based curriculum used by schools around the world).  Students may complete MEO courses at home over the Internet or at the school site in our Crossroads Centers.  Each Odyssey course will be assigned a certified teacher who will be available for consultation via e-mail and/or at the school by appointment.  Electronic High School courses also have certified teachers available for consultation.
